did Cinema Pamir remain in tact in the midst of rubble is a question
hard to answer, but we are just glad that it did.
The Jaadah in front of it was the dividing line between two
factions, who pounded each other as nothing else mattered. My pictures of the Jaadah were accidentely burnt, however I
have included in another section a picture of it by someone else to show
the massive destruction. As
we were driving through the area I thought that when Kabul is rebuilt
this area should be turned into a museum so that it is a reminder of the
consequences of the fighting of the selfish-power grabbers who showed no
regard for the city and the people who had nurtured them. |
